Description

The 3E1982T Vortex Transom Mount Magnet is a unique magnet with patented inbuilt technology ensuring improved performance and durability within a 1.1m or 2.2m custom manufactured transom housing. Equipped with a holding force of up to 1500kg the lock is also designed to release under side load pressure of 100kg.The lock features an integrated lock and door status sensor, early warning tamper trigger and buzzer. The chassis of the lock is sprung loaded therefore if the door is under attack then the magnet “moves” with the door thus preventing door flex and door peeling. The armature has strong alloy pin which mates with the conical aperture on the face of the magnet ensuring both substantial magnetic and mechanical holding force. The Vortex magnet is CE tested and EMC compliant.
